Some of my primary interests in Folk&Myth are centered around religion. I am particularly interested in the ways religion is an emergent quality from a relationship between an internal, individual experience and what is external or socially-given such as our culture, nationality, or a traditional practice. In terms of chemistry, I currently work in an atmospheric chemistry modeling group, specifically focusing on using satellite observations to better refine our understanding of surface emissions of methane.
